About This Role
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) at GEEK Up is a critical "hunting" engine focused on the enterprise segment. Your mission is to initiate and maintain direct human conversations, leveraging personal credibility and networks to engage high-level decision-makers. You will diagnose intent and seriousness, positioning GEEK Up not as a vendor, but as a Trusted Product Partner.
Unlike traditional sales, your success is measured by the quality of partnership-ready conversations and access to key Sponsors, rather than just pipeline size or deal closure.
1. Key Responsibilities
Initiate direct human interaction, leverage networks, diagnose intent, and position GEEK Up’s unique Value Proposition.
- Relationship Targeting & Entry: Identify and secure legitimate entry into target accounts (Digital-Forward Enterprises, Fast-Growing Startups) by validating organizational relevance.
- Sponsor Engagement: Navigate complex stakeholder maps to reach "Sponsors" or "Final Decision Makers" (CEOs, CDOs, Product Heads) who own business outcomes and ROI.
- Partnership Framing: Conduct high-level conversations to frame GEEK Up’s partnership logic, clarifying the Sponsor’s ownership and intent without jumping into deep technical solutioning.
- Opportunity Qualification: Diagnose the seriousness and openness of potential clients to a "Product Partnership" model over traditional outsourcing.
- Strategic Handoff: Ensure a "clean" handoff of sponsor-validated opportunities to the Partnership Development team, ensuring all initial uncertainties are addressed.
- Market Intelligence: Perform business and stakeholder research to prepare for meaningful, insight-led interactions.
2. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Primary: Percentage of targeted accounts with successful Sponsor or Chair access.
- Secondary: Percentage of opportunities successfully reaching Touchpoint 2 (Business Brief).
- Health: Feedback from the Partnership Development team on the quality and depth of entries.
