ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior Product Designer will be a key leader in defining and delivering the user experience and visual design for complex digital products. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, hands-on design execution, and mentorship, ensuring the design solutions not only look great but are rooted in deep user insight and aligned with client business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead the entire design process, from Product Discovery and concept validation to final execution and delivery across various platforms.
- Work closely with Product Analyst and Product Engineer in the Product Definition phase to translate complex business requirements and user needs into clear, elegant design strategies.
UX/UI Research & Ideation:
- Plan and execute various UX/UI Research activities to gather key insights.
- Lead UX/UI Ideation workshops and design sprints with clients and internal teams to explore solutions for challenging product problems.
- Develop detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications to communicate design concepts effectively.
Visual & Interaction Design:
- Execute high-fidelity visual design, ensuring consistency with GEEK Up’s design standards and client branding.
- Maintain and evolve the Design System to ensure efficiency and scalability across products.
- Advocate for design quality and usability throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating closely with developers.
Mentorship & Partnership:
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team’s capabilities.
- Effectively present and articulate design rationale to clients and internal stakeholders, fostering the Co-Creation Partnership Model.
